LuxeNest Nannies

Refund & Replacement Policy

At LuxeNest Nannies, we strive to provide families with exceptional childcare professionals who meet their needs. While we aim for successful long-term placements, we understand that circumstances can change.

1. Non-Refundable Fees

  • All placement fees are non-refundable once a candidate has accepted an offer of employment with a client, regardless of whether the employment has commenced.

2. Free Replacement Guarantee

  • If a permanent candidate (nanny, governess, maternity nanny, tutor, or housekeeper) leaves employment within the first 8 weeks of their start date, LuxeNest Nannies will provide a one-time free replacement search.

  • Clients must notify LuxeNest in writing within 5 days of the candidate’s departure.

  • The replacement candidate may not be identical, but will match the family’s profile and requirements as closely as possible.

The replacement guarantee does not apply if:

  • The client has not paid the placement fee in full and on time.

  • The role, salary, duties, or working conditions have materially changed from the original agreement.

  • The candidate resigns due to mistreatment, unsafe conditions, or breach of employment contract.

  • The candidate was paid “off the books” (i.e. without tax compliance).

3. Temporary Placements

  • For temporary or trial placements, fees are non-refundable and no replacement is offered.

4. Client Cancellations

  • If a client withdraws an offer before a candidate has accepted, no fee is due.

  • If a client withdraws an offer after a candidate has accepted but before the start date, the full placement fee remains payable.

5. LuxeNest’s Commitment

We commit to:

  • Carefully screening and reference-checking all candidates.

  • Providing transparent communication and support throughout the placement process.

  • Acting promptly to begin a replacement search if required under this policy.
