LuxeNest Nannies – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions represent a legally binding contract between LuxeNest Nannies ("the Agency") and the parent(s) ("the Client"), covering the consulting service and placement of childcare professionals ("the Candidate"). The Agency specializes in placing nannies, maternity nurses, maternity nannies, governesses, tutors, housekeepers, and providing consultancy services to families.

1.2 The Client acknowledges that once a Candidate is engaged, the employment relationship exists solely between the Client and the Candidate. LuxeNest Nannies is not the employer of any Candidate.

2. Fees

UK Placements

  • Full-Time Nanny: 12% of gross annual salary

  • Part-Time Nanny: 15% of gross annual salary

  • Full-Time Governess: 14% of gross annual salary

  • Part-Time Governess: 16% of gross annual salary

  • Weekend/Travel Nanny: 15% of gross annual salary

  • Maternity Nurse/NCS (up to 6 weeks): £150 per week

  • Maternity Nurse/NCS (6+ weeks): 15% of total salary

International Placements (Europe, Middle East, US, Asia)

  • Full-Time Nanny/Governess/Tutor: 14% of gross annual salary

  • Part-Time Nanny/Governess/Tutor: 16% of gross annual salary

  • Weekend/Travel Nanny: 16% of gross annual salary

  • Maternity Nurse/NCS (up to 12 weeks): £200 per week

  • Maternity Nurse/NCS (12+ weeks): 15% of total salary

Short-Term / Temporary Placements (Worldwide)

  • Up to 12 weeks: £100 per day (UK) / $150 per day (international)

  • 13–51 weeks: 15% of total salary

  • Trial (up to 4 weeks): £400 per week (UK) / $600 per week (international)

3. Payment Terms

  • Placement fees are invoiced upon a Candidate’s acceptance of employment.

  • All fees must be paid in full within 7 days of invoice and always prior to the Candidate’s start date.

  • Failure to settle invoices on time may result in cancellation of the placement and additional late payment charges.

4. Replacements

  • If a Candidate leaves within the first 8 weeks, LuxeNest Nannies will provide up to 2 replacement candidates at no additional charge, provided the Client has met all obligations (timely fee payment, compliance with employment law, and no significant changes to job role/conditions).

  • No refunds are given.

5. Responsibilities of the Client

  • Clients must provide accurate information regarding role, duties, and salary.

  • Clients are responsible for drafting employment contracts and ensuring compliance with HMRC (UK) or local employment laws (international).

  • Clients must provide safe, respectful, and lawful working conditions for Candidates.

6. Liability

  • LuxeNest Nannies is not liable for any loss, damage, or disputes arising from the Client’s direct employment of the Candidate.

  • The Agency cannot guarantee length of service, but will assist Clients in finding suitable replacements as outlined above.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
